Tangy Coleslaw

I tweaked this recipe from one I found online. I don't use measuring utensils when cooking. I just guess. I can get a more precise recipe if needed. Just leave me a comment.

Tangy Coleslaw

Ingredients
Cabbage (green or red)
Carrots
Green onion
Slivered almonds

Dressing
Olive oil
Rice vinegar
Lemon juice
Dash of cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper
Fresh ginger, chopped finely

1. Chopped the cabbage into strips. Grate the carrot. Chop the green onions.
2. Mix in all the dressing ingredients.
3. Toss together. Sprinkle almonds on top before serving.

  1. We went to Hacienda for Drews bday. They had a cole slaw, non mayo, kind of vinegary with jalapeƱos in it. It was so good. I'd like to find a recipe for that. Maybe I'll try tweaking yours...
